QTR-Kayenta-Illum Alpha Smooth Not the Same

2005-03-07 by Andrew Unger

I have been using Illuminata Alpha Smooth as a proofing paper for
Moab Entrada Natural. Moab's Kayenta has the same description as
the Alpha Smooth, but doesn't mention brightness. I ordered it and
found that it is very bright paper, brighter than Entrada Bright.
Its not what I expected, but at $68 for 50 sheets of 17x22 from
Inkjetgoodies it will find plenty of use. Has anyone tried Kayenta
with QTR? I'm sure the Entrada Bright curves would work pretty
well. Has anyone used any others that worked? What adjustment do
you make to account for the extra level of brightness?

Andrew
