If by file count you mean the recent file count option then there is no relation
between this and printing. It is just, as you guessed, the number of recently
printed files QTRgui will remember.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
