Digital BW, The Print

I'm having problems again with QTR printing.  I thought I had things solved, but I'm again having the problem with the paper rolling through and not printing.  Several times it did not print and I reinserted the paper and hit the paper feed button and all was well.  The last 2 times printing have been real problems.  I'm printing on HDurer (happen to have found some old sample packets) and it wouldn't feed correctly (the William Turner did with no problem).  It finally printed but had not pulled all the way in so the print is incorrectly placed.  Then I tried maual feeding from the back slot.  I had all kinds of problems with that--had to cancel quite a number of print jobs with that and finally got one to print.  I've never had problems with manual feed before. 

The question, though, is---is there any relationship at all to printing and the file count?  I couldn't really get much out of the 'help' regarding this.  Both times I've had problems was when I rolled up 5 prints.  I couldn't get anything to print until I increased the number to 12.  Is this a coincidence or is it related.  I assumed that the file count was something similar to 'recent files' in PS.

If by file count you mean the recent file count option then there is no relation
between this and printing. It is just, as you guessed, the number of recently
printed files QTRgui will remember.
