Digital BW, The Print

I'm new to the community and am just starting to print black and white digitally. 
I'm looking at the Epson 2200 and R1800. Has anyone had experience with 
either of these for black and white printing? Is one better for it than the other? I 
do color also (and make enlarged negative digitally for alternative processes) 
and want to purchase one or the other but not alot of info comparing them. 
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
