Well, I can't get QTR working with my 9600 and Tiger. Even after uninstalling QTR and re- installing QTR, I end up with two QuadTone Rip choices in the final print dialog box. Choosing the first results in nothing happening. I did an upgrade to Tiger, not a complete fresh wipe of the drive.
