Vuescan workflow....Re: scan B&W as neg...WHY?

neg>neg>pos seems distinctly better with V than neg>pos BUT I've just
tested Mendel's neg>pos workflow in Vuescan and done even
better...sharper even...per this photo.net thread:

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
