Clarification:
What I meant to say was that even though the kirkland is glossier than 
the semi matte, the glop evens it out and makes them pretty close to 
the same. I have found that using the media setting "glossy film" 
removes the grain fro the shadows, but then the contrast curve is a 
little flat in the midtones....more testing. I am a trial and error 
kind of guy, as long as I have time.....
