Joe, Not so! The two carts that you can swap are the Photo Black and the Matte Black. You don't have to swap them to print B&W. Photo Black is OK for printing on all papers, in B&W and color. The Matte black cart simply gives you a darker black on matte papers for B&W and color if you are a matte paper enthusiast. The matte black ink is no good for glossy papers. Just like the 2200/2100. Thus, switching from B@W to Color is costly if you do it very often. PLUS, the hassle! So for some of us who like to print B@W and Color, and who often do it the same day, this is a caveat. Just my impression.
