I bought the pre-filled EZ inks for my C86, and the cartridges don't have stoppers. Does this mean that these aren't the Easy Refill Cartridges? I'm starting to get low on ink, and I had planned on refilling. On another note, I've been pretty happy with my two C86s so far, one for color and one for bw. With color, I really like the look of Epson's Enhanced Matte. Is there a paper with a similar look that's archival? With bw, I get pretty good prints. (At the moment I'm scanning 8x10 fiber based prints to get my file.) The prints look good until I place it next to the silver gelatin print. Sharpness isn't the problem, but rather the surface of the paper. Kirkland is too glossy. I try some premier art shield when it arrives, as I've heard that this lowers the gloss. I also have some Epson premium semi-matte on the way. Does spraying it with Premier Art Shield increase the gloss with this paper? I"ve seen prints on Epson Premium Luster paper, and they were quite good, very similar to semi-matte or pearl RC silver gelatin papers, although it had too much texture for my liking. Does Epson professional semi-gloss have less texture? Peter
