FWIW - Contrary to other's suggestions that bigger is better, for several
years I've been using the 4x5 Inutuos II and now the III and have been
thoroughly pleased with its size. I originally bought a 9x12 and not only
did it take up more desk space and was unwieldy, my arm got tired after
having to make such large moves. I also use a 4x5 Graphire II for on-site
gallery demos and although not nearly as sensitive as the Intuos it's also
sufficient. For selections, burn/dodge, masking, etc., for me, I've yet to
encounter any shortcomings with the 4x5.

But a pen tablet is indispensable with PS!
