OK......you are talking about the MIS-EZ inks, which paul roark has developed for the c86, which paul really likes. If paul Really likes them, you be assured that they work great...... However, when people around here say "Black only" or "B.O", they are refering to using only one pure black ink, and not 4 shades of black and grey. B.O is a technic that is used on the 1280, and 2200, and the bigger machines, and has a kind of nice grainy effect that people find works great for certain images. The epson driver allows you to chose the "black only" option, which shuts off all the colored inks. On the c86, it works badly, nothing like the 1280, at least with the mac driver.
