When I bought my C86, I installed the MIS pre-filled carts without ever using the Epson carts. The MIS inks went FAST, with that 1st set. Then I bought re-fillable carts and bulk MIS ink. The ink isn't used nearly as fast as that first set. Go figure. I highly recommend re-fillable carts and bulk MIS inks. If you go that route, let us know and we'll fill you in on what to purchase.
