Hi Nick, That's what I had in mind. There's drivers at multiple levels so that's the cause of confusion. As Stephen mentioned the standard epson driver is used at the lowest level as a raw driver. This is essentially just the usb interface and the spooler. At the QTR level the "Printing Model" selects which QTR driver. This is the part that does all the actual work of figuring out what to send to the printer. The error about missing "escp2-R1800" is from QTR and it looks like I missed a table entry for this. The R800 and R1800 are very similar except for the paper width so I thought using the QTR driver for the R800 (i.e. picking that printing model) might work OK. Thanks for confirming that it does.
