Digital BW, The Print

I use the VM inks and have found on my prints that the highlights are a
little bit too dark - make the print look kind of not enough vivid. If I
want to tweak the curves (in my  case: neutral cool) - where should I start?
Red seems rather muched emphathized in the highs, whereas green and blue are
pushed down.
