Digital BW, The Print

I have been following this thread with interest. Last time I looked 
into this (? a year or so ago), there still seemed to be an advantage 
to using CRt's for color accuracy and for viewing smooth type, also for 
viewing any type of video without ghosting with fast motion.

Is it correct that these problems are now over and LCD's are just fine 
for monochrome, but also critical color work for inkjet printing? Also, 
is type viewing OK on these now? Thanks for bringing me up to date!
