If you lift the cover and look down into the printer, you will see the top of the wheels and to the left and right side of each wheel the ends of the coil spring. Use a small nail or any pointed object, compress one end of the spring until you get it to comes out. Don't remove it, just let it lay there in the event in the future you want return the printer to its original condition. The wheel should now come off the paper or film. Release as many springs as you need for the width of the paper/film you are printing on. Hope this helps, John
