I can appreciate what you are saying Clayton, but we need to capture images  
before we can print them. When all of the Analog Legacy Data goes away (some  
people still call it film, which, to me, is a 4-letter word that starts with 
F)  we will all be working with these types of scene recording devices.
 
As I recall, you were singing Canon praises a while back as well with the  
Pro 1. Now imagine that kind of performance, plus 60% sharper and a usable ISO  
1600!
 
It's a pause for the wrong cause, perhaps, but a darn good one for those  who 
want to keep printing new images with the higher resolution solutions  
presented by you and others here.
 
Besides, the 5D has a terrific B&W mode with different filters built  in.
