I have two 1280---one loaded with MIS color inks and the other with UT2 inks for BW. Till I got the spongeless carts, I had much trouble with clogs (air bubbles more likely thn clogs). Now I have not had any trouble other than the occasional ink drop on the page being printed. That was most likely from the print head hitting a bent corner of the papaper being used. I don't think I'm doing anything different than anyone else, but I wouldn't ever go back to spongefilled carts. Filling these clear spongeless carts is so simple and clean now that I fill them in about 5 minutes. I do wear rubber gloves to keep my hands clean though.
