Digital BW, The Print

I have both a 1280 with UT2 ink and a 2200 with UC ink.  I've used
Paul Roark's curves on the 1280 and QTR on the 2200.  My X-rite 810
just arrived and I've just completed a QTR curve for the 2200 which
really makes an improvement.  I'm now attempting a curve on the 1280
but with multiple grays it's a bit daunting.  My feeling is I'll get
smoother tones and greater dmax with the 1280 when I figure it all out.
