Converted on the fly to what? If your Mac greyscale workspace is 1.8
then that's not accurate. But he does need to post a jpeg.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
