Paul, Although in a large format printer it's a bit of a hassle, you might consider mixing a custom PK that optimizes the load for the particular printer. The MIS 2400 PK is a lower load than the MIS Pro PK. In fact, the 2400 PK is about the same as 50% MP PK and 50% LK. With these 2 PKs (actually just the PK and LK would do) and with the new base, what I did for the R200 was find the mix that gave a good balance between gloss differential and density. With the R200 I was going for good Epson driver performance. With that driver, the R200 had a particular problem of a too-light 95% with glossy paper. So, it was actually performance at that point that I was optimizing.
