The CIS is not "misread" by the printer - your 1160  still thinks you are
using carts, & will continue to guess when it is time to change them, even
though you are not running out of ink. Read the section in your CIS manual
on resetting the switches - you raise & lower the sponges to fool the
printer into "thinking" you changed the carts.
