The most economical way to use the system is to re-fill the carts. For this you'll want a chip re-resetter. See the bottom of my Readme on the C86 (http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/C86-EZ-UT-Readme.htm) and the picture of the resetter I have listed on my index (http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/index.htm) just above the C86 section. There is also a Russian program that can reset the counters (http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml). The carts that had the tapes on them may need a priming to get the fluid going. Air was probably sucked into the chamber just above the inlet. See the photo of the modified bottom fill adapter I use for priming, also just above the C86 section.
