Just went through this. I think I would go for the 1280. MIS now has chipped CFS carts for the 1280. When I bought my 1160 they still didn't, also, my 1160 was much cheaper than I could get a 1280 for from a trust worthy dealer. > I'm torn between an Epson 1160 and 1280.
