I don't know about the 2200 printer, but with the 4000, 7600, 9600 I have found Enhanced Matte to be one of the worse paper settings for our matte cotton papers. Smooth Fine Art, or even Watercolor RW work better (not blocking shadows) when printing profiling charts. YMMV ----- Original Message ----- From: John Moody To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint Sent: Friday, November 11, 2005 2:37 PM Subject: [Digital BW] (OT) Color profile for Museo Max If anyone is thinking of sending color targets out for a custom Museo Max profile, you might want to discuss it with your service provider before printing them. On my 2200, using no ICM in the epson driver for enhanced matte with OEM inks looks good up to 68% then nosedives and is totally blocked up by 90%. It looks much better using color controls, and I will be looking for a compromise setting before printing any targets. The colors are wonderfully rich, saturated, and hold detail well, so I believe I'm going to really like this paper for color, as well as BW.
