I wanted to clarify something I posted earlier: > In its Color Settings layout, Adobe PS Elements groups sRGB with GG 2.2; > AdobeRGB is associated with Dot Gain 20%. The grouping of Adobe RGB with Dot Gain 20% is apparently done because those are the settings used commonly by the prepress industry, not because Adobe RGB uses Dot Gain 20%. Both Adobe RGB and sRGB use a gamma of 2.2 because it is felt to more closely approximate the human visual response.
