Max Black reading with Epson k2 and k3 compared

Are you guys seeing an substantial improvement in the deepest black
reading with the Epsn K3 over previous Ultrachrome. I know you should
have some  highlight advantage, but what about blacks? I am primarily
interested in the 7800/9800 with our without a rip.
