All, Below are DMax readings obtained with a Macbeth 914 for a couple of paper / ink combinations, to me the MIS Ebony numbers look way too low. I was wondering if MIS mis marked the cartridge: HPR Satin/UC: DMax 1.72(absolute) 1.64(minus base) - 85% ink load (no Printshield) Printshield lowers DMax around 0.07 HPR Satin/Ebony DMax 1.55 (absolute) 1.46 (minus base) - 85% ink load The Ebony also gave very low (around 1.5) DMax on CondorBW. Ready to trash the Ebony. Anyone to care to share their readings to compare? Out of interest there was some discussion in the past as to whether the absolute DMax or the papaer white compensated DMax should be reported, I didn't see any firm consensus - any more thoughts? Thanks Martin
