Digital BW, The Print

Hi guys,

I haven't been in touch for some time but I always enjoy reading your
exchanges.  

I work mostly in BW, still using the original Cone's Piezography
system on my good old Epson 3000.  I now buy the Sundance inks
directly from BWGUYS.COM.  They still work like charm on all
Hahnemuehle papers and their new spooler is more reliable than before. 

Recently, I had to replace all four heads on my E3000.  I paid $600
(ouch!) but the printer runs like a Swiss watch again.  I wonder how
many of these "old workhorses" are still around and how many of you
are still in quad tone BW printing.  

I hear all the wonderful stuff about ImagePrint and Epson 4800 and
wonder how much has the technology progressed – or not, because I'm
still pretty happy with my results.

my older photographs.
