Of course, but aside from the 3000, which was the main point of my 
message, it is, as I made clear, the next printer up the line.  I'm 
just trying to provide information, and could do without the barbed 
comments, thanks.

And what about the 3000 with Piezo?  It's more expensive than the 
1160, but you get what you pay for, and it is a lot less expensive 
than the 7000, even with Piezo.  You may be able to get a 
reconditioned unit to save money.

I forgot to mention the 1520, which will also work with Piezo, but 
won't print quite as wide as a 3000.
