Quentin, I didn\ufffdt get your message that Julian is quoting further down. Sorry if my answer seemed somehow rough, maybe I just was just a little bit shocked by those prices... :-) In fact just by the size of the printer a 3000 style machine is what would put into my home at best. The 1520 doesn\ufffdt print bigger than the 1160. Basically I dont like the idea too much of buying a printhead technology which is some 3 or 5 years old. They could have updated it to their latest printheads. A new 3xxx Printer could be the perfect intermediate model between the now low cost A3 printers and the top models 7k, 9k and 10k.. But the photographer group is probably too small to be of considerable interest for a company like Epson...
