No worries - I must be getting thin skinned.  Can't blame you for the 
price shock.  You should have seen my wife's face when the 7000 first 
arrived :-)  

There does seem to be a gap in Epson's lineup at the moment.  Problem 
pricewizse is that above the 1280/90, Epson move in to pro territory, 
with pro pricing.  The 3000 still sells, so I guess for the moment 
they can focus on the 10000 and upcoming rumoured 8000 series.

I justify my 7000 by driving an old Ford instead of a newer car.  I'm 
printing off an A2 print on it at the moment.  As they say, size 
matters.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
