Profile or adjustments for 2400 w/ MIS K4 inks I posted an earlier post http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint/message/71180 But may not have enunciated sufficiently well. I am happy to have seen very recent postings which convey that the MIS K4 inks are working well, particularly with the color inks. This is what I was hoping to read. The significant remaining question is one of the necessity or not to create new profiles with the K4 inks. As per Clayton' s fine write-up, I find that the Velvet Fine Art option works well with the K3 Epson inks and, for example of probably the most common paper, Epson Enhanced/Archival Matte. My final question is, and limiting it to EEM paper, will new profiles be needed for the MIS K4 inks, particularly in color, on the Epson paper ? This was certainly the case in the past. But I am reading and getting the impression from some of the postings, that some users are able to use the MIS K4 inks with only the built in profiles in the 2400 utility ? Is this the case ? Or is it back to the drawing boards to tweak and tweak to get a parallel between the Epson prints, with OEM inks, and the MIS K4 inks on the same (in this case for simplicity) EEM matte paper ? Thanks, Jerry
