If you really want to protect and trace your images there is Digimarc.

Adobe has been pushing it for years, it does cost.  I don't know of
anyone who has used it, anyone out there?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
