Thanks David, this is the way I proceed. The soft is quite straightforward in how it should be run. Right now, I feel better off with a profile straight out of the printer with no calibration... and I don't feel this should be the way. I trust Colorbase bringing the printer back to its factory linearisation is a plus I'd like to benefit from...as long as I can manage it.
