I haven't seen Ctein's article on making books in Photo Techniques
Jan/Feb 2006 mentioned here. Apologies if it has and I've missed it.

He prints his books on EEM, with Epson Photo Quality Paper as
interleaves, and has them professionally bound by Cardoza-James in San
Francisco.

I was a little surprised to discover that Ctein used EEM for books
selling for $900.
