Two ways, you can suck the ink out of the larger carts with a syringe 
and a bottom fill adapter. Or you can cut the labels on the cart, pop 
the plastic cover off, remove the ink bag and then cut one corner of 
the bag. Drain into your bottles and enjoy. If you decide to buy a set 
of carts for the 78/9800 instead (not sure if there is a price 
difference, I would be interested in the empty carts (more directly the 
case, pressure bladder, and valve assembly. You can contact me off list 
if you end up with those 78/9800 carts.
