Probably yes.  I found when I rinsed the dyes off the parking pad my old
1280 suddenly stopped having the nuisance clogs of the black jets.

The junk on the pad may have left debris on the head also.  So, a bias tape
or folded strip of paper towel, soaked in Windex and wiped across the head
might help.
