Digital BW, The Print

It's time to go back to work and I'll will be needing to shut down my 
printer quite often, typically 10 days to a month at a time.  (I'm 
using MIS UT-R2)  Any suggestions for putting it to sleep.  I remember 
seeing something on the subject, maybe in this forum, but I've been 
unable to find it again.  Any suggestions?  On a similar note any 
recommendations for switching between warm and neutral cartridges and a 
good way to make sure the heads are cleared of the old ink.  Thanks.
