I've been searching for a long time for a paper that I can make my standard for everything. I thought I had found it in Crane Silver Rag. I immediately ordered a box to try it out but after about ten weeks they have failed to deliver or even set a delivery date. This suggests that sheet customers are unimportant to them and they might drop sheet production at any time - if, in fact, they ever start. So it's back to the hunt. Can someone suggest another paper with specs fairly close to those of Crane Silver Rag - gloss (or semi gloss), 100% cotton, acid free, buffered, no optical brighteners, fairly thick and meant for pigment inks? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Olaf Ringdahl [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
