Akos, The R1800 curves for use with K7 do not use the glop channel. Does the Niagra have 7 carts, tubes and bottles, or eight? If the Niagra has 7 channels, you can leave a normal Epson cart with glop in the printer in the glop position, and every time the printer is powered on it will use a few drops of glop for the Epson "self cleaning" ritual. Eventually, a year or two down the line, the glop cart will be consumed and need to be replaced. Or, instead of using the glop cart, you can get a refillable cart from Image Specialists or MIS and load the printer with Image Specialists WJ820 "dilutent for matte inks" (aka MIS "clear base"), which will keep the print head much cleaner than little bits of glop every now and then. If the CIS has 8 carts, tubes, and bottles, you must load something into the eigth bottle. You will destroy the printhead letting the printer suck air. If you're not going to play with glop, use the WJ820 that I mentioned above. With just a squirt when you power on the printer, the bottle will last forever. Change it every two years to keep it from turning into sludge. If you'd actually like to play with using the glop channel for overcoats on glossy pictures, load the bottle with Image Specialists WJ824 "dilutent for glossy inks" (MIS glop for the R800/R1800 inkset). Have fun. Joe
