Two quick questions before I shoot myself..or my printer. 1. Can you set the 1800 for Black only or do you have to remove all the carts except the two black ones? Also, I have still been getting roller marks on the prints. I didn't have that problem for the first 20-40 prints but now I do. I turned off the gloss and it seemed to help solve that problem but I'm not sure that is the best option. Does that make sense? I'm using Epson Premium Semigloss and PremiereArt Semigloss papers. 2. I have created printing settings that include best photo gloss ...off color controls on ICM off epson vivid on gamma 1.8 additionally, Doug Fisher (thanks doug) suggested the following to slow down the printer even more to help repress the roller marks. ""When you go into the printer driver pages called "printing preferences",then go to the advanced page (check the "show this screen first" box), then go to the ink config. You will find the settings in there." I was never able to find the ink config area. Does anyone have suggestions for better settings for optimal prints. At the moment I can't afford expensive calibrations or profiles so I'm trying to make the best with what I have to work with in a bare bones 1800. Thanks, Tim
