Digital BW, The Print

When feeding the paper through, keep a firm & consistent pressure (in the
direction of the feed) as it trys to grab it. This will insure the feed
mechanism gets a good grip and knows it has the paper. Otherwise it
hesitates and just pushes it through.
 
I do this all the time with my 2400.
 
Used to do it with my 1280,
 
and my 1270,
 
and my 870...
