That's pretty much where I am, especially after learning how to get good b&w out of the DSLR and good b&w prints from the Epson. For me, the DSLR represents freedom, as Aretha would say. Few technical issues, just hunt for images. No tripod most of the time, no hugely bulky stuff on the airplane, no time wasted developing and scanning film, no changing out film holders in the middle of the night in the hotel bathroom, no need to be super selective in what to photograph because of all the baggage that goes with it, no being stuck with one film speed, no bank account balance :). Sort of like finding out that you can buy paint brushes without chains attached.
