In the manual there is a section on Loading Special Paper in the Single Sheet Guide. It talks about selecting "Manual-Roll" and sure enough, you have to choose this option in the Page Setup "Paper Size". For example, US Letter has an arrow that lets you further specify paper where you would choose "US Letter, Manual-Roll". After I pick this I can choose Velvet from the Print Setup menu. But it warns you to load paper in the rear manual slot. And the Manual Roll option is not available for all paper sizes, including the 4.25x5.5 special paper size I created for proofs and testing. Can anyone tell me how easy/tough it is to use this manual Single Sheet Guide? I have very little space behind my printer. Maybe another 5 or 6 inches. It's housed in a cabinet and I just can't see myself bending over to get behind the machine too often. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "John Vitollo" <jvlist@...> wrote: > > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Kevin" <vinke@> wrote: > > > > > Anyway, Velvet Fine Art Paper is still not selectable along with Water Color and > > UltraSmooth Fine Art. > > > > A true mystery to me and I'm sure I'd like to use the Water Color w/ matte black in the > > future, too. > > The thicker papers can not be loaded via the tray....thus the fine art paper media settings will > be grayed out if "tray" is selected in the Epson driver. > > I don't have the 2400 (I have the 4800)...is there a manual feed selection in the Epson driver? >
