Every time you swap the cart the printer will do a cleaning cycle
(which uses a lot of ink), so it's a very inefficient and expensive
way to work.  If you don't mind that and don't mind doing the extra
cleaning work then try it for awhile and see how you like it.

Clean any stray ink off the poppet valve and put it in a plastic bag.
