Hello Paul, >OK, how about this scenario: I keep the color dye carts in their >original position (not as good as pigment, I know, but ok for the >occasional family non-archival snapshot), with the original black >cart in its slot. Then, when I want to do BO, I put the Eboni in >its place. Simple! Also, Paul suggests it may be necessary to wipe >off the pads during this exchange. Every time you swap the cart the printer will do a cleaning cycle (which uses a lot of ink), so it's a very inefficient and expensive way to work. If you don't mind that and don't mind doing the extra cleaning work then try it for awhile and see how you like it. >But how do I store the black cart I'm not using? Clean any stray ink off the poppet valve and put it in a plastic bag. Regards, Clayton Info on black and white digital printing at http://www.cjcom.net/digiprnarts.htm
