Re: [Digital BW] Replacement for C84 with MIS EZ inks

2006-09-01 by Kip Babington

Thanks, Paul. It looks like the Russian utilities can reset all the ink
cartridge chips (unnecessary with the auto-resetting chips that come in
the MIS CIS setup) and the waste ink pad counter (called the "protection
counter.") But I don't see any option or instruction for resetting the
overall use counter. There is a reference in one of the postings on the
user forum of the Russian Utilities that suggests it may take a series
of control button presses to reset the overall use counter but no
further info anywhere in the forum (that I could find) and nothing I see
in the Help file with the utilities.

Any other suggestions for places to look?

Cheers,
Kip
