In the past I used Epson Premium Semi-Gloss for color images. After seing image samples using this paper I switched. I've never used it for B&W images. I purchased Epson Enhanced Matt for B&W prints for now. I like the Ilford paper but I'm biased from having used Ilford paper for wet development a long time ago. I've seen a few posts around were some have used this paper for B&W but I suspect that is with a photo black carteridge.
