Whatever. It's a good bang for the buck. At the Swiss made stuff is. We'll see about the US made.

I think there's a big difference between acid neutral and acid free. Acidic neutrality is achieved by adding buffers that, over time, lose their effectiveness and the paper once again becomes acidic. This is not the case for acid free, although over time, with exposure to an acidic enviorement, acid free paper will also deteriorate. Acid neutral paper uses a wood fiber componant and acid is used to break down the fibers, whereas, acid free is generally made from cotton rag fibers and acid is not used to break down the fibers when making archival papers. While Kirkland papers may be acid neutral I seriously doubt they are acid free and I would not consider them as archival.
