Are you aware that the paper exit tray extends and raises up to the
paper level?  Once the front flap is down, push in on it and then
release the pressure and it comes out and up to the paper level.  Then
if you pull on the flap it slides out far enough to catch 13x19 paper.
 Very clever. Some engineer earned his paycheck on that one.
